Mesaba Co-op Park

Launching the swimming raft

Mesaba Co-op Park is a cultural, historical and ecological gem nestled on the Iron Range near Hibbing, Minnesota. We are a member-owned land/facilities use co-op. Members and guests enjoy 240 acres of beautiful pine and birch woodlands that encircle the clear, spring fed waters of Mesaba Park lake.

To preserve water quality, no gasoline motors are allowed on the lake. The Park and its members have made special efforts to maintain the quality and health of the forest and lake. Rowboats and canoes are available for rent by the hour or by the day; and boat launching is permitted.

Mesaba park provides campsites, RV hook-ups, cabins, bathrooms/showers, and other facilities (link to “facilities” here). Patrons of the park can enjoy as much solitude or comraderie as they so choose. In addition to the regular use of the grounds and facilities, Mesaba Park offers many special events each year, such as the annual Midsummer Festival.
